I'm back with another empties post and, as usual, I have a lot of skincare products! I am really focused on using up lots of products that have been open for a while before opening new ones and I'm happy with my progress, which is pretty evident from the photo above!
May Lindstrom The Honey Mud: I previously reviewed this here, and my thoughts are still the same. This is one of my favourite luxury cleansers. My nightly showers have turned into facial sessions, which I am quite fond of. Like I said before, it is quite expensive, but I will re-purchase!
Leahlani Mermaid Mask: The Mermaid Mask has saved my hormonal skin on numerous occasions. Injecting it with nourishing and calming ingredients like Spirulina, Chlorella and Raw Honey. I'm on my 3rd jar of this mask. I use it 2-3 times a week to give my skin a boost of nourishment. If you haven’t tried anything from Leahlani, I definitely recommend buying this first because I don’t know anyone who doesn’t love it.
Argan Republic The Manuka Orchid Facial: This is a beautiful exfoliating, healing, and regenerative facial. It is unlike any mask I've used before, which makes me love it even more. A rarity of its own. The ingredients are top notch, it smells divine, you get a subtle exfoliation with use, and when you rinse it off, your face is glowing, smooth, & moisturized. It's simply divine. I wrote a little bit about it here. Repurchase? Absolutely!
Mahalo Rare Indigo Balm: I was so sad to finish off this gorgeous balm but it lasted me a really long time. This seriously smells like Hawaiian heaven and my skin just loved it. I'm definitely going to miss it in my routine. I'll be back for you one day!
Bottega Organica Eye Cream: I don’t normally use eye creams regularly, but I really enjoyed this one. It is a very gentle yet effective eye cream that hydrates, plumps, and smooths the eye contour. It doesn’t have much of a scent, and it feels really cooling on the skin. Many eye creams give me eye irritation and milia, but this doesn’t irritate me in any way. Highly recommend, but at $200 for 15ml, I’d need to win the lottery to afford the full size! Thank you for Beauty Heroes for letting me try this beautiful high end product.
Kypris Antioxidant Dew: I bought this about 5 months ago and was cherishing it so much that I just recently finished it up. The word “dew” perfectly describes what this serum does to the skin. It’s fantastic for layering and I find no matter what product I layer it with, it gives my skin such a healthy boost in appearance and leaves it dewy and glowing. This serum costs $98, which is not cheap at all, but if you are considering getting it, do it - I don’t believe it could disappoint anyone. Sadly I don't have a replacement bottle... yet.
Odacite Aloe + Immortelle Hydra Repair Mist (trial size): I've tried a few Aloe based toners now and I have to say they have been really lovely to my skin. This toner mist normally comes in a spray, but with the sample I had to pour it out into a cotton pad because it came in a pour out bottle. I didn't notice any big difference in my skin because I didn't use it for a long length of time. But I did like the scent and how refreshed my skin felt after using it!
Josh Rosberook Hydrating Accelerator: Okay so Josh’s Hydrating Accelerator was in my last empties post too but I had to include it again because I’ve had SEVERAL of these empties and lets be honest, it’s just that good not to mention again. This multi-functioning spray acts as an anti-inflammatory, instant hydrator, toner and light moisturizer. (SO good on planes, btw.) Smells fresh and herbal, and my skin just loves it as a pick-me-up or before I apply serums and/or moisturizer. Good thing I always keep a back up...phew!
Sangre de Fruta Botanical Body Cream in Rose No.1: I received this as a generous sample from Green & Pure with an order I placed an on their site. The scent is subtle and divine— you don’t have to be a fan of rosey scents in order to appreciate it. And the texture is pure silk. Definitely not cheap, but I’d love to buy a full-size in the future.
Agent Nateur No.3 Deodorant: As long as you aren't overly sensitive to baking soda, this is a great deodorant. It has a pleasant, fresh eucalyptus scent and doesn’t leave any sort of residue. The only negative I can think of is that the scent doesn't linger, so, at the end of the day my armpits don’t smell fresh and clean like after the application, but they don’t smell bad either. I’m trying a few others at the moment, but I wouldn’t hesitate to repurchase down the line or recommend!
Gressa Minimalist Corrective Serum Foundation: I'm not going to discuss this product in too much detail as I’ve already reviewed it here, but it’s the closest thing to a glorious, luxe, silicon-y department store serum foundation as you can get and still be green. It gives medium to full coverage with just a couple of drops. It's amazing! A big plus is that it has a satin finish. This is definitely a repurchase for me.
Zuzu Luxe Mascara in Onyx: A great mascara for a natural look. It doesn’t give much drama or volume, but I love it for day-to-day. And, it doesn't smudge under my eyes. That is the most important thing. Repurchase? Already have.
Bite Agave Lip Mask: I still have a little left but it's close enough to being empty so I thought I would include it. For the most part I use this strictly as my night-time lip treatment all year round & not once has it let me down. Each & every single morning I wake up with soft, smooth lips, regardless of whether I've exfoliated them recently or not. Serious love for this, would highly recommend, and will repurchase eventually when I downsize my overall lip stash.
And that’s what I have loved and finished over the past couple months! Have you tried any of these? What products have you finished up lately?
