Who doesn’t love a good product empties, ‘products I’ve used up to the very last drop’ post? It’s a great way to see what I’ve loved so much to use up right to the very end and a comforting act that shows that I’m actually working my way through my slightly ridiculous stash (phew!). Here's a quick run through of all of the products I've used up in the past couple of months and whether or not I'd buy them again.
Josh Rosberook Hydrating Accelerator: I had been lusting after Josh Rosebrook’s Hydrating Accelerator for as long as I known the brand —which is long. And I am happy to report that it is just as good as I hoped it to be and my skin's been calm, happy and hydrated. Happy to have a backup awaiting me!
May Lindstrom The Jasmine Garden: This smelled incredible and was wonderfully soothing. While I didn’t find the formula overly hydrating, I did notice that a few spritzes of this on cleansed skin infinitely helped to calm my skin. For this reason, I would reach for it the week before and during that time of month to help prevent any pesky breakouts. However, the price tag is a bit exorbitant, especially for a spray, which puts me on the fence for repurchasing. But if you are a lover of an elegant looking bottle sitting on your vanity, then you certainly can’t go wrong here in terms of looks and performance.
Argan Republic Rooibos Hibiscus Toner w/ Jasmine and Bee Propolis: I really, really loved this toner and was so sad to use it up. It really seemed to brighten my skin, and the scent alone is one of my favourites! I would use it after cleansing at night and before serum, however, I feel like I should have been more careful dosing the product as I went through it rather quickly. I would love to purchase the full size (which has a spray nozzle), but it is quite expensive, especially with the current exchange rate.
Indigena Labrador Tea Face Cream: This is always a repurchase. Enough said. I can't live without this and you should be expecting a full post soon.
Pai BioRegenerate Rosehip Oil: I believe this is my third or fourth bottle, and that is saying something. As soon as Pai released their rosehip oil, I simply had to try it and it has become a staple ever since. I don’t replace it immediately once it runs, simply because there is never a shortage of face oils on my shelves, but I always miss it when it is not around. Read my detailed review here.
Laurel Sun Damage Repair Facial Serum: Aw man, I miss this serum. I haven’t used it for weeks but I feel a bit wistful looking at the empty bottle. I think this may be a repurchase item when I actually need to buy another face serum. It smelled beautiful and did wonders for my skin.
Green Tidings Deodorant: I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again – I LOVE Green Tiding’s deodorant. It's clean, conditioning, de-odourizing, and just about everything you could ask for in a deodorant! Read my detailed review here.
One Love Organics Healthy Locks Dry Shampoo: Love the scent, and worked well for 2nd, 3rd, 4th-day hair. Repurchase? A solid yes.
Lily Lolo Mascara: This mascara is great if you only need to apply one coat, every time I tried to build up any more layers it would just start to clump and make my lashes stick together. I do say that my lashes are difficult, I need both length and volume, and for that reason I’ll be looking elsewhere for my next mascara purchase.
Lily Lolo Bronzer in Miami Beach: Absolutely loved this bronzer! It is a perfect shade for skin, totally matte, and blends beautifully. Unfortunately this ended up smashing on the floor so I didn't technically use it up completely but I was pretty darn close! I have a new-to-me bronzer awaiting me that I can't wait to try out but i would definitely consider repurchasing this one in the future.
So there is a mini review on all my green beauty empties. I am happy to finally be able to dispose of them and I will continue collecting products I have finished for future empties posts.
